What are the entry requirements?
Entry requirements depend on the Media & Communications programme you choose. For the Foundation Diploma in Media & Communication, you must generally be at least 16 years old and have at least one GCE O-Level pass or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with recognised secondary, international, private or foreign qualifications may also be considered.
For the Diploma in Media & Communication, you must generally be at least 18 years old and hold a GCE A-Level, Year 12 qualification, IB Diploma, pre-university qualification, Polytechnic Diploma, BAC Foundation Diploma or another recognised equivalent qualification. Mature applicants may also be considered. English-language requirements apply.
Can I build a portfolio while studying?
Yes. BAC’s Media & Communications programmes give you opportunities to develop practical creative work that can contribute to your portfolio. Through project-based and experiential learning, you can gain hands-on experience in areas such as media writing, photography, video production, digital content, advertising, marketing and corporate communications.
These projects allow you to demonstrate your creative, communication and digital skills to potential employers or universities as you progress through your studies.
Are internships part of the programme?
BAC provides practical exposure through internships, real-world projects, competitions and industry experiences as part of its experiential learning approach.
