Life at BAC

I embarked on the Diploma in Law at BAC College and it is through this course that I managed to earn a place at University College London (UCL) for their under-graduate law programme. I feel that the delivery and organisation of the programme at BAC has prepared me better for law school as it is not only inclusively structured but also designed with the needs of a part-time student in mind. As a full-time National Serviceman, I felt that availability of audio recordings, the ease with which I could approach the teaching staff and the high level of student-teacher interaction greatly helped me stay attuned with the class even when I missed lessons.

BAC College conducts rigorous preparatory classes and is exceptional in cultivating an analytical mind that is able to tackle even the most creative of questions posed by examiners. BAC lecturers are always prepared to walk the extra mile and put it an additional hour of work simply to bring out the best in each student. While the road to “success” is not an easy one, it is definitely worth it because the “endgame” is really developing, and becoming equipped with, a clear, concise and critical thought process that is capable of providing an extra edge for all.

Deciding to sign up with BAC College was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The school’s focus on academic excellence is in my opinion, unparalleled. The lecturers clear and concise teaching methods and the administrative staffs’ efficient and timely handling of all aspects of the school; was what I believe greatly aided me in obtaining a place at the University of Birmingham’s undergraduate law program. The foundation of the study of law that was firmly built in BAC has enabled me to fully appreciate the subject of law for its intellectual depth and ultimately face the challenges of its rigor.

The lessons at BAC are very focused and geared towards the examination and this was instrumental in helping me secure a place in Birmingham University to read law. The UOL programme offered at BAC also gave me the necessary skills to excel in University like critical thinking, logical reasoning and the ability to formulate sound arguments.

Being a student in BAC for two years has been a fulfilling and enlightening experience. What I found most admirable was the dedication and an almost ‘parent-like’ responsibility that the lecturers possess. They go above and beyond what is expected of a lecturer, which leads me to believe that they don’t see this role as just a job. It is also incredibly inspirational to see how passionate they are. All things considered, what I received from BAC was not just an education but lessons both in law and life that I will carry with me and a family that I can always return to.
